21st Century Chill Out
2001 React

Finishing off the React trio that ended up a “21st Century” trio (we’ll do another React series showing off some of their other great releases someday). The “Chillout” phase in the 90’s was a transformative time for me and still is my go-to genre with trip-hop & downtempo mixed in. 2002 Ministry Of Sound

So this is where I was headed with the last 3 posts (minus April Fools Day). Odd, yet pretty excellent compilation from the folks at Ministry of Sound with a bunch of tremendous artists including Kinobe, Jakatta & Bent. It may take 15 minutes to get through the Hip-Hop on disc 1 (I’m not a huge fan of Rap after 1995) but I think you’ll be pleased.
