Released on the short lived Brooklyn Music Limited label, this assortment shows off of the Dangers midas touch. Ranging from Bowie & NIN to David Byrne along with the brilliant Selector Mix of Hyperreal by the Shamen which I still jump up and dance to when it plays. To be honest I hadn’t listened to this collection in years. Actually haven’t really listened to Progressive Trance in a long time but this did bring back some good memories, especially disc 2. Lots of evenings at the clubs, red bull & vodka, 4-6 hours on the dance floor and an In-N-Out Burger at 5am. A few great regulars from the REACT roster and some personal favourites in the likes of Cygnus X, Oliver Lieb, Cass & Slide & Bedrock. It’s a pretty great collection & reminder of where electronic music was in 2000.
