So this is where I was headed with the last 3 posts (minus April Fools Day). Odd, yet pretty excellent compilation from the folks at Ministry of Sound with a bunch of tremendous artists including Kinobe, Jakatta & Bent. It may take 15 minutes to get through the Hip-Hop on disc 1 (I’m not a huge fan of Rap after 1995) but I think you’ll be pleased. So turn down the lights, grab a drink & comfy chair and set this to play. I’m sure you need something to help detox, I sure do.

One of the many aliases of sought-after producer/remixer David Russell Lee (Joey Negro as most know). A great 7+ min groovy house track with the epic downtempo “American Dream” mixed by the brilliant Steve Miller (Afterlife). Just recently found out that the track originally was called “American Booty”… Funny!
